With Trevon Diggs and DeMarcus Lawrence out hurt, Micah Parsons is the lone star player available for the Dallas Cowboys’ defense. He is one of the best players in the league, and he always backs his teammates on and off the field.
Diggs is out for the rest of the season as he is set to undergo surgery on his left knee. Recently, reports emerged that the Cowboys were not happy with how the cornerback handled his injury. Parsons was not pleased about the reporting on his teammate and went on social media to send a message.
Micah Parsons Reacts to Reports About Trevon Diggs
Per Jeff Cavanaugh, Cowboys writer Clarence Hill Jr. said that the team “were not happy with the way he (Diggs) attacked his rehab.” Parsons, who is very close to the 26-year-old cornerback, tried to shut down the narrative being presented to the fans.
“Bull s**t !! I’ll drop facts one day! Just not today!!” wrote Parsons. “But this bulls**t and a bad narrative they’ve tried to put on my brother’s name!”
Diggs also reacted to the latest reports and used the cap emoji [used when someone is lying] in his post on X (formerly known as Twitter.)

Diggs missed the entirety of last season due to an ACL injury he suffered before the start of the campaign. He played 11 games this year before getting hurt, and nobody exactly knows how much time the Alabama product will miss due to the knee injury.
This is a list of notable players on the Cowboys who have suffered injuries this year and have missed time:
- Dak Prescott
- DeMarcus Lawrence
- Micah Parsons
- Trevon Diggs
- DeMarvion Overshown
- Zack Martin
This injury-ridden season has been a complete disaster for Dallas, so Parsons doesn’t want other people to spread lies about his teammates. Diggs is under contract with the Cowboys until 2028, and when healthy, he is one of the best at his position.
As a result, unless Jerry Jones himself comes out and says things about him, other people should refrain from putting information that might not be true in public.
Parsons Addresses Trade Rumors
Despite injuries to several players, the Cowboys are still fighting to finish this season on a high. They have won three of their last four games, with the only loss coming against the Cincinnati Bengals in a game they should have won.
Parsons missed four games earlier this season due to an ankle injury. Since returning from the injury, he has not been short on effort. He will be eligible for a contract extension after this year, and there have been speculations that the franchise might consider trading him.
“I understand how that business side goes,” said Parsons, per Cowboys insider Jon Machota. “There are no hard feelings in this business, whether I’m here or anywhere else. Obviously, I’ve stated that I want to be here. But at the end of the day, I understand the business side.”
In the last few years, the Cowboys have offered lucrative extensions to Diggs, CeeDee Lamb, and Prescott, making retaining a player of Parsons’ caliber much more difficult.
The return in a trade package for Parsons will be pretty enticing for the Cowboys. However, since the 25-year-old player has the potential to end up as an all-time great, and he is the team leader, it would be a surprise if they ended up trading him.
Jones loves to keep star players on the team, and Parsons is arguably the biggest star among defensive players in the league. His podcast has faced criticism, but that helps bring more attention to the Cowboys, something their owner is fond of.
