The 2022 Miami Pro Day will allow some of their most talented NFL Draft prospects to continue their ascension in this class. When is the Miami (FL) Pro Day, who should you be watching out for, and what can we expect?
When is the Miami (FL) Pro Day in 2022?
- Date: Wednesday, March 30
- Time: 10:30 AM ET
The 2022 Miami Pro Day will take place on Wednesday, March 30. The program’s NFL Draft-eligible prospects will take to the field for workouts at 10:30 AM ET. Last year, the Miami Pro Day was held at the university and was televised on the ACC Network.
Top Miami NFL Draft prospects working out at pro day
This year’s Miami Pro Day might not attract the same level of attention as last year’s. Ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft, both Jaelan Phillips and Gregory Rousseau were considered potential first-round selections. With no NFL Combine last year, interest was high, particularly given Rousseau’s excellent athletic profile. Although the Hurricanes might not see the same level of success this season, there are still numerous prospects on show at the 2022 Miami Pro Day.
Charleston Rambo, WR
After a lackluster 2020 campaign for Oklahoma, Charleston Rambo opted to transfer to Miami rather than declare for the NFL Draft. It was a decision that could pay dividends for his stock. The physical wide receiver had the most productive season of his college career in 2021, setting program records for single-season yardage and receptions.
His performances earned him an invite to the East-West Shrine Bowl, where he impressed Pro Football Network’s team on the ground in Las Vegas. A twitchy athlete who creates separation with impressive change-of-direction ability, Rambo should perform well in agility drills like the three-cone and short shuttle at the Miami Pro Day. An improvement on his 4.57-second 40-yard dash time set at the NFL Combine would help continue his upward trajectory as an NFL Draft prospect.
Bubba Bolden, S
In a group of ultra-athletic safeties, I was impressed to see Bubba Bolden hold his own in Indianapolis. He put together a good 40-yard dash time of 4.47 seconds. Some Miami media and fans are expecting an even faster time at the pro day. A fluid athlete, he should also impress during on-field drills. Bolden’s size, length, and athletic profile could prove alluring for NFL teams on Day 3 of the NFL Draft.
Mike Harley, WR
Mike Harley ended his Hurricanes career as the program record-holder for career receptions. While he hasn’t received much hype in the NFL Draft process — and was snubbed as an NFL Combine invitee — teams looking for a genuine speedster might want to check out Harley at the Miami Pro Day. In a recent interview with Pro Football Network, he predicted a sub-4.3 seconds 40-yard dash time.
