Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill claimed on Tuesday that the NFL has fined him a staggering sum:
“More than 100K,” Hill tweeted.
NFL fining me more than 100k is classic NFL 😅

Assuming those fines were all from the Giants game — which, with Hill, who loves to troll, is never a safe assumption — that would mean he played for free last week. NFL players get paid in weekly installments throughout the season. Hill’s base salary in 2023 is $1.2 million.
Don’t feel too bad for Hill. He’s already earned more than $90 million in his eight-year NFL career.
But still, that seems like an unfair penal sum for a player who wasn’t involved in a fight, didn’t make contact with an official, and didn’t lead with his helmet.

Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill Fined Again?
Hill did, however, commit a handful of lesser infractions, including flashing the peace sign as a taunt during his 69-yard touchdown pass, going into the stands to hand the football to his mother during the celebration, and perhaps violating the league’s uniform code.
Team no sock ✌🏿

Hill told the Palm Beach Post last week that the NFL fined him $7,000 for not wearing socks.
“So in the Broncos game, the first touchdown, I didn’t have any socks on at all,” Hill said. “But I was getting an IV, and I didn’t want to be late for the play. So I didn’t have time to put on my socks.”
Hill was unchastened. Even after getting the costly letter from the league, he still included his mom in his most recent touchdown celly.
“My mom told me before the game, when we were riding over here, she was like, ‘I need to be a part of your touchdown celebration today,’” Hill said.
“I was like, ‘Mama, I’m going to get fined.’ And she was like, ‘I don’t care about that. I just need to be a part of today. Like, make it about mama.’ So when I scored, I was calling her down, and she was making her way down.

“And when I gave it to her, a guy took it. Somebody took it. But my mom, she’s a bulldog. She’s like, ‘Give me my ball.’ So you already know it. I got a flag for it, but it was worth it though. Team Mom all day.”
The NFL reveals fines late each week.
UPDATE (Oct. 11): NFL Media reports that Hill was not fined for his touchdown celebration and that while he has been fined “a significant amount” for repeated uniform violations, his season total is less than $100,000.
#Dolphins star WR Tyreek Hill, who tweeted Tuesday that the NFL fined him “more than 100k”, has been fined repeatedly this season for uniform policy violations, I’m told.
The total is less than $100K, but a significant amount. It isn’t related to his TD celebration last week. pic.twitter.com/aqkjNmTBVR
