5 Miami Dolphins Players Named to 2024 PFN Top 100

Pro Football Network's Top 100 is out, and the Miami Dolphins have a larger-than-average class. Who made the cut? Who was left out?

Welcome, Miami Dolphins stars Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle, to the PFN Top 100.

The Dolphins’ Alabama connection cracked the Top 100 this year for the first time, joining a five-man class that also featured first-time honoree Jevon Holland.

The other two members of the Dolphins’ Class of 2024 — Tyreek Hill and Jalen Ramsey — should be familiar with their surroundings. Both made the 2023 PFN Top 100.

The Dolphins’ five representatives on the 2024 PFN Top 100 are up from three in 2023, and are tied with the New York Jets and Detroit Lions for sixth-most in the league.

The San Francisco 49ers led all franchises with nine selections, while the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, and Dallas Cowboys had six each. The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs also had six players picked.

The Dolphins and Jets have the most selections among AFC East teams. Two Buffalo Bills and one New England Patriot made the list.

Hill, who led the NFL in receiving yards (1,799) in 2024, ranks seventh overall on the PFN Top 100. He is the No. 2 wide receiver behind only Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings (sixth overall).

Ramsey comes in at 36th overall (and third among corners behind Sauce Gardner and Patrick Surtain II) after putting together a Pro Bowl season despite missing seven games with a significant knee injury. Ramsey finished the year with three interceptions and five passes defensed.

Tua Tagovailoa is at No. 66 and cracks the list for the first time in his five-year NFL career, following a year in which he led the NFL in passing (4,624 yards) and appeared in his first Pro Bowl.

Tagovailoa is the 12th-ranked quarterback on the list, behind Patrick Mahomes (No. 1), Lamar Jackson (3), Josh Allen (11), Joe Burrow (12), Dak Prescott (32), C.J. Stroud (35), Jalen Hurts (43), Justin Herbert (51), Matthew Stafford (52), Brock Purdy (55), and Jordan Love (58).

Waddle joins the party at No. 77 after ranking in the Top 15 in success rate (58.7%), yards per target (9.8), and yards per game (72.4). He’s the NFL’s No. 13 wide receiver, per the PFN selection committee.

Holland forced three fumbles and returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown in an injury-shortened season. He rounds out the Dolphins players on the Top 100 at No. 79 and was the fifth safety on the list behind Antoine Winfield Jr. (26), Kyle Hamilton (27), Jessie Bates (39), and Minkah Fitzpatrick (57).

The one Dolphins snub? Running back Raheem Mostert, who came in at No. 105 despite leading the NFL in rushing touchdowns.

Jaelan Phillips (140), Terron Armstead (143), and Bradley Chubb (181) also garnered consideration.
