Miami Dolphins Earn Highest Grade In NFLPA’s Report Cards for the Second Straight Year

The NFLPA report card was overflowing with praise for the Miami Dolphins, who finished as the best-ranked team for the second year in a row.

It was a rough year to be a Miami Dolphins fan. An injury to Tua Tagovailoa derailed their season, and even with an outside chance in Week 18 to get into the playoffs, the team couldn’t come through. As a result, they enter the offseason with more questions than answers.

However, while the team might not have been successful in the W-L column, they still were far and away the best organization for any player to be a part of. For the second year running, the Dolphins were the premier franchise, as voted on by the players themselves.

Miami Dolphins Remain Atop Players Voting for NFLPA

Across the board, it was clear that players, for the most part, were extremely happy with the treatment they were getting in Miami. Ranking first out of all teams, the Dolphins also finished atop the ranking in seven out of 11 total categories.

The NFLPA website themselves wrote, “The Dolphins retained their crown as the top-ranked team in the 2025 Report Card. Owner Stephen Ross is once again the highest-graded owner and the team is ranked No. 1 in seven of the 11 evaluated categories.”

Going on, the team’s commitment to ensuring their players get the best treatment was put on full display. “The quality of the facilities is matched by the quality of the people in the building, making for an extremely positive player experience. The team also renovated their gameday locker room at Hard Rock Stadium this summer.”

This is despite the locker rooms not even counting towards the official rankings. “The stadium locker room is not an area evaluated in these surveys, but this is another example of just how committed the team is to providing an elite player experience.”

Not ranking below A in any category, the team had an A+ in all but three metrics – Training Room, Training Staff, and Treatment of Families.

With daycare and family rooms available during home games, the team does its best to ensure players’ families are taken well care of. In the food department, there were zero complaints from players, with both the area and the nutrition itself ranking first and second respectively.

There were no complaints about the locker rooms either, with the training staff and training room receiving specific praise, ranking as the best in the entire league. It extended to the weight room as well, where their strength coaches were also seen as the best in the league.

Both ownership and the head coach were given an A+ rating, the best among all owners, whereas the individual grades put Mike McDaniel at the fifth position in the league.
