The Miami Dolphins are stepping forward headfirst with Tua Tagovailoa and Mike McDaniel at the helm, and in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, they strengthen the roster around their central tandem.
Who Could the Miami Dolphins Select in the 2025 NFL Draft?
Note: The draft order for the 2025 NFL Mock Draft was derived from my record and playoff predictions for the 2024 NFL regular season.
1.25) Miami Dolphins: Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
The Dolphins’ interior offensive line remains a question mark. If struggles ensue in 2024, they may be forced to address it head-on in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Tyler Booker might be outside everyone’s size parameters at 6’5″ and 352 pounds, but he moves extremely well for his size, and his people-moving skills would be nice for Miami.
2.57) Miami Dolphins: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford
Behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, Elic Ayomanor would be a sound investment at WR3. At 6’2″, 210 pounds, he brings size and toughness at the catch point unique to him alone.
Ayomanor is also a RAC threat, and his blocking utility is an added bonus.
Rounds 4-7
4.122) Nofoafia Tulafono, OC, Wyoming
5.130) Oscar Delp, TE, Georgia
5.154) Nickolas Martin, LB, Oklahoma State
7.214) Jordan Favors, CB, Appalachian State
7.218) Hudson Clark, S, Arkansas
Dolphins 2025 NFL Mock Draft Analysis
The interior offensive line is an easy area of concern to pinpoint for the Dolphins. They lost Robert Hunt in free agency, and while the short-term duo of Isaiah Wynn and Robert Jones is competent, an upgrade should certainly be sought in 2025.
Additionally, while the Dolphins signed Aaron Brewer in free agency in 2024, Brewer himself has struggled with injuries this offseason. If that continues during the season, then center could become a question mark sooner rather than later.
Thus, two of Miami’s first three picks were spent on interior offensive linemen in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
Tyler Booker is a massive specimen who should file in well on a line with Terron Armstead and Austin Jackson.
Though Brewer very well could solidify himself long-term as the Dolphins’ starter, don’t sleep on Nofoafia Tulafono if Brewer falters.
In a thin center class, Tulafono is one of my favorite sleepers in the 2025 NFL Draft. At 6’2″, 320 pounds, he’s low-to-the-ground, strong, and dense, and he has a mean streak in space.
At wide receiver, Elic Ayomanor profiles as an intriguing WR3 alongside Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. He can block for them with his size, and he has the short-range route tree and physicality to provide value as a RAC threat in space.
Elsewhere on Day 3, the Dolphins added a versatile TE and an able blocker in Oscar Delp. They brought in an undersized but hyperactive linebacker in Nickolas Martin. They sought versatility and depth in the secondary with Hudson Clark, and they nabbed another one of my sleepers in cornerback Jordan Favors.
Favors, who notched four interceptions, eight pass deflections, and 2.5 tackles for loss in 2023, could end up replacing Kader Kohou as the rotational nickel DB alongside Jalen Ramsey and Kendall Fuller.
