The Los Angeles Rams secured a massive 27-9 win on Monday. The game was originally supposed to be played at SoFi Stadium, but due to the unfortunate LA-area fires, it had to be moved to State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals.
The total relocation took about five days. The Cardinals left no stone unturned to ensure the Rams got the feel of their home ground, including gallons of blue and white paint and stencils to make the logos.
Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly, shared her experience of the whole process while discussing the Cardinals’ unwavering gesture.

During the latest edition of her podcast, “The Morning After Media,” Kelly discussed how the Cardinals helped the Rams move to State Farm while still retaining an environment similar to their home ground.
Kelly said that while it was a lot with the staff, cheerleaders, etc., the franchise was clear that they needed to be together for this thrilling matchup despite the unfortunate circumstances.
“This is a lot of moving parts for the Rams. You’re thinking all staff, you’re thinking, they’re moving a home game to Arizona. You’re thinking video people, I mean, anyone, the painters of the field. The cheerleaders, the mariachi band, and the national anthem performers. We had multiple performers during that game.
“It’s not that I saw them, but we’ll get there. But to move all of that within 24 hours and say we are not going to separate right now, it is too important to have our community together and safe,” Kelly said during her podcast.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell also praised Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill for facilitating the team’s abrupt move to Glendale.
“Everybody came together, and Michael Bidwill and the Cardinals are at the top of that list. They turned the relocation of the game around in five days,” Goodell said.
The Cardinals reportedly sent two planes to transport the Rams staff, personnel, and families to Arizona, along with a few cats and dogs. Goodell also shared that despite the tough circumstances, close to 45,000 fans flocked to Arizona to support the Rams during the gigantic win.
Goodell also shared that he wanted to send a message to the people of LA that the NFL community is rooting for them.
