Judon fell to the ground and was in obvious pain for several minutes. He was later helped to the sideline by Patriots medical staff and immediately headed to the blue medical tent. After spending a brief time there, he made his way to the locker room for further evaluation.

Just minutes later, the Patriots announced that Judon was doubtful to return to the game. Earlier, the Patriots also lost CB Christian Gonzalez to an injury.

Update, 8:54 PM ET (October 1): ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the following: “Patriots’ standout pass rusher Matthew Judon suffered a lower bicep tendon tear during today’s loss in Dallas, per source. How much time he will be sidelined for still is being evaluated.”

Judon had logged one tackle prior to the injury. Heading into the game, he had racked up four sacks and 12 tackles on the season. If Judon misses significant time, Josh Uche will be the next man up, according to the Patriots’ depth chart.
