Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. is considered by most to be a can’t-miss prospect at the wide receiver position. He’s regularly the first non-quarterback off the board in mock drafts, and there are several reasons the 21-year-old is so highly regarded by scouts and pundits alike.
To start, there’s productivity. Harrison racked up 144 catches, 2,474 yards, and 28 touchdowns during two seasons as a starter for the Buckeyes. He has prototype size (6-foot-4, 205 pounds) and athleticism. Not to mention he comes from Hall of Fame bloodlines. Harrison’s father, Marvin Harrison Sr., was an all-time great receiver for the Indianapolis Colts.
What team the younger Harrison suits up for in the pros will be revealed a few weeks from now. Fans of that team will likely buy his jersey en masse soon thereafter. Of course, members of Harrison’s inner circle will likely don those same replicas on Sundays in the fall.
Does Marvin Harrison Jr. Have a Girlfriend?
Numerous sources across the web link Harrison with a young woman by the name of Charokee Young. She’s become increasingly more supportive of the former Buckeyes star on her own social media pages. It’s more likely than not he reciprocates that support as well.
Young, after all, is quite the gifted athlete in her own right. The Jamaican-born runner recently starred on the track team at Texas A&M, beginning her decorated tenure with the Aggies in 2020.
Young, who specializes in sprinting events, wound up in a number of record books during her collegiate career. Her profile page from the team website details her successes, which are so plentiful that they read like a CVS receipt.

Young, much like Harrison, seems to be at her best in short bursts. Her two best events are the 400-meter and 800-meter dashes. She’s a two-time NCAA Division I Champion and medaled several other times at both the SEC and NCAA Track and Field Championships.
Young has continued to compete post-grad as well, recently running in the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow. That event is part of the qualification process for the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics.
According to her LinkedIn, Young graduated from A&M in 2023 with a bachelor’s in sports management. She had previously expressed a desire to pursue a career as a sports agent or manager. It seems fair to suggest that a soon-to-be pro in Harrison is a strong candidate to be her first (or at least most well-known) client.
A Look At Harrison’s Relationship Timeline
It’s hard to pinpoint when exactly Young and Harrison got together. For two public figures, they’ve largely managed to keep their private lives, well, private.
Internet sleuths point to a string of social media posts, and interactions, from spring of last year as a possible point of origin for the uber-athletic pair going public.
For instance, Harrison commented, “I’m a lucky guy,” on one of Young’s Instagram posts last April. He dropped a couple heart eye emojis on another of her photos.

Young’s gone more public in her support of the star wideout as well, congratulating him on an Instagram post for receiving All-American honors and sharing that news on her own X (formerly known as Twitter) page.
Nonetheless, one can’t help but wonder which of these competitors might win in a footrace.
