Marshawn Lynch Gives His Ex-Coach Pete Carroll a Shoutout

During Carroll’s opening news conference, as he was talking, Lynch could be heard giving his former coach a shoutout.

“Marshawn Lynch attended Pete Carroll’s Raiders introductory press conference. In the middle of Pete’s speech, Lynch interrupted with a loud ‘RRRRAAIDERRRRSSSSSS!'” as was posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) by Ari Meirov.

It appears that Carroll might have been caught off guard and had no idea at the time who was giving him the shoutout, but you have to believe after it was over, Lynch let Carroll know it was him.

But it was funny as Carroll looked a bit startled. Meanwhile, Lynch has been busy. He is about to star in the action-adventure movie “Love Hurts” with Ariana DeBose and Ke Huy Quan.

It appears in the preview of the movie that Lynch may play an antagonist, something he may be a bit comfortable playing. He gets a chance to show his athletic and comedic side in this new movie after having roles in several recent films and TV shows.

What Carroll Had To Say About Lynch’s Stunt

Carroll was impressive in his opening press conference and talked about what he would bring to the team.

One of the things being reported is that Raiders’ part-owner Tom Brady had a lot to do with Carroll’s hiring as the Raiders’ new head coach.

“It’s our mission to build this football team up around the quarterback position. This isn’t the only spot,” Carroll said during his press conference. “We happen to have the greatest of all time to help us, and to see clearly, and we’re going to lean on Tom as much as we possibly can for his insights because nobody has the insights that he has. He’s that unique.”

He continued by saying that Brady would be part of the decision-making process regarding who their next quarterback would be.

“It’s our mission to build this football team up around the quarterback position. Once the season is over, Brady can dive more into helping Carroll build the Raiders roster.
