LSU’s production of NFL wide receivers lately cannot go unnoticed, and they have a couple heading to the 2024 NFL Draft as well. Brian Thomas Jr. and Malik Nabers put up big numbers for the Tigers this year, and Nabers added to an already impressive résumé.
The question with Nabers is where he’ll land. A consensus first-round pick, he’s seen a number of teams select him in PFN’s Mock Draft Simulator. But where is he most likely to land?
NFL Draft Predictions: Malik Nabers to New York, Chicago, or Arizona
This year’s class features elite playmakers at wide receiver, with Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. and Washington’s Rome Odunze leading the way. Players like Nabers are challenging them, though, so there’s plenty of speculation about where the receivers will land.
Nabers currently gets picked early in the first round of PFN’s Mock Draft Simulator, but two teams stand out above the rest:
- New York Giants – 33.22%
- Chicago Bears – 28.15%
- Arizona Cardinals – 8.23%
- Los Angeles Chargers – 7.25%
- Tennessee Titans – 7.06%
The Giants’ offense must figure out the quarterback situation. Is Daniel Jones the future? He might have to be for now, but it wouldn’t hurt to give him more options.
Saquon Barkley’s future with the team also remains in question as he’s a free agent, but the passing attack has the potential to be electric. Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt return, and adding Nabers elevates that group even more.
Chicago’s first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft should be a quarterback, so this data is for their second pick in the first round. Regardless of their decision on a quarterback, the passing attack needs new weapons.
The Bears have a solid tandem in wide receiver DJ Moore and tight end Cole Kmet, so adding Nabers gives them an explosive weapon who would see 1-on-1 matchups. Throw in a new quarterback, and the offense would look drastically different than last year.
Arizona has the fourth pick of the draft, and there have been a few mock drafts where the Cardinals take him that high. They need a certified vertical threat, and Nabers has proven to be that for LSU for the past two seasons.
Quentin Johnston is turning out to be a bust for the Los Angeles Chargers, so it’s not a surprise that fans are drafting Nabers. Tennessee needs more help on the offensive line, but they have an exciting young core on offense at the skill positions too.

Nabers elevates any offense that he joins. He’s an explosive player who can stretch the field at a number of positions. He shouldn’t be on the board long, and it just comes down to what team finds him most valuable to their roster.
