Who Could the Los Angeles Chargers Draft in the 2025 NFL Draft?

1.10) Los Angeles Chargers: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
It wouldn’t be a 2025 NFL Mock Draft without reuniting a Michigan player with head coach Jim Harbaugh in Los Angeles. It just so happens that Colston Loveland is a perfect fit, too.
Loveland helps supplement the Chargers’ non-elite weapons core, and he himself gives Justin Herbert a dangerous seam threat with mismatch-generating route-running skills.
2.42) Los Angeles Chargers: Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State
Jim Harbaugh never played against him in the Big Ten, but you can bet he and Greg Roman have their eyes on the supercharged carving knife that is Quinshon Judkins.
Judkins would be the last piece to the puzzle for their dream running game.
3.74) Los Angeles Chargers: Jordan Burch, DL, Oregon
Listed as big as 6’6″, 290 pounds, Jordan Burch has logic-defying utility as a stand-up rusher. Ultimately, he can help Jesse Minter with his dynamic usage versatility.

Chargers 2025 NFL Mock Draft Analysis
You knew there was going to be a Michigan player in this one. Harbaugh brought Junior Colson and Cornelius Johnson from his former team in the 2024 NFL Draft, and he also signed undrafted free agent Karsen Barnhart.
In this Chargers 2025 NFL Mock Draft, the Michigan-to-L.A. pipeline continues with tight end Colston Loveland.
The Chargers could still use more depth and reliability at WR, but Loveland’s addition is a definite victory for the Chargers’ brass. He’s a mismatch-generator against linebackers and larger safeties, and his presence over the middle can isolate 1-on-1 matchups for other players.
As if Herbert and Loveland in the same offense weren’t already fun enough, the Chargers also scored Quinshon Judkins in this mock draft.
Judkins fits Greg Roman’s offense extremely well with his efficient running style, sharp interior vision, hyper-elite explosiveness, and finishing physicality.
The Chargers scored big in the middle and later rounds. Capehart and Burch both add to the team’s defensive line rotation, with Capehart serving as the nose tackle. Bohler brings versatility, athletic upside, and playmaking ability to the secondary, while Clark brings physicality and length.
Elsewhere, Bradley is a vertical threat with size and athletic upside at WR, and Hartwig could eventually enter the starting conversation at center.
