The Seattle Seahawks have just as often traded first-round NFL Draft picks away in the modern era as they have made selections with those picks. But no matter the scenario or circumstances, the Seahawks have shown, as they’ve continued to develop, they know how to use those picks to acquire talent.
Seattle Seahawks First-Round Draft Picks Throughout History
Despite only being around since 1976 as a professional franchise, the Seahawks already have more first-round Hall of Fame picks than some teams that have been around since the very beginning. Seattle has seen four first-rounders head to Canton, all of whom were drafted between 1981 and 2001. Safety Earl Thomas could eventually field consideration as a fifth Hall of Famer, with a résumé that includes three All-Pro and seven Pro Bowl bids.
