LeBron James Reacts to Derrick Henry’s Thrilling Performance

Henry left all of the NFL world in awe as he ran for 186 yards and scored two touchdowns during the Steelers showdown.

The Ravens’ running back also made history as he tied with former Denver Broncos RB Terrell Davis for the most 150-yard rushing games in postseason history.

Reacting to Henry’s thrilling 186-yard, two-TD run, Los Angeles Lakers star James took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to appreciate his performance on Saturday.

James used a crown emoji and wrote, “HENRY!!!” while tagging him along with a saluting emoji, expressing his appreciation.

Not just James but Henry’s teammate Lamar Jackson also took the opportunity to praise him and even compared him to Lightning McQueen. According to Jackson, Henry was “flying and flashing past.” He further said that the whole show looked like a movie and that he would’ve loved to be on the other side of the ball and watch him shine.

“You know when Lightning McQueen is just flying and flashing past, and it’s like ‘[whooshing sound],'” Jackson said.

“That’s how Derrick looked when he was running past all those guys. It looked like a movie. I’m not going to lie to you, but I’d rather be watching it than be on the other side of the ball; I know that,” Jackson said.

Henry’s performance created a buzz in the NFL world. Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III compared the Henry-Jackson duo to “Goku and Vegeta,” as the duo “used to be enemies fighting for football glory in the AFC. Now as a team, they are both making each other better than ever.”

Following the history-making performance, the Ravens running back made a humble statement about not getting ahead of themselves as a team. He said that he plans to stay level-headed and focus on the parts of the game where they could do better.

“We’re not going to get too [far] ahead of ourselves and go off the walls about how great we are. We’re going to stay level-headed, enjoy this one, watch the film, see where we can get better at, and then move on to the next one,” Henry said after the win.

The No. 3-seed Ravens (12-5) will prepare for the Buffalo Bills as they advance to the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
