Kyren Williams was the epitome of a workhorse running back for the Los Angeles Rams in 2023. But Sean McVay’s squad may have to turn to other backfield options on Sunday, as Williams appeared to suffer an injury in the Rams’ Wild Card game against the Detroit Lions.
Kyren Williams Injury Update
Williams initially departed Sunday’s game after taking a forearm to the head. He was evaluated in the blue medical tent on the Rams’ sideline and returned to action.
Williams handled a 1st-and-10 carry from Detroit’s 13-yard line with 9:28 remaining in the fourth quarter. That was his final snap before Los Angeles announced that he was questionable to return with a hand injury.
