Kylie Kelce, better known by NFL fans as Mrs. Jason Kelce, recently admitted she was bothered by a headline that stemmed from her comments about Taylor Swift’s home-cooked meals.
Kelce explained on her podcast that she never “refused” Swift’s meal, as the headline suggested.

Jason Kelce’s Wife, Kylie, Sets Straight Viral Accusation About Taylor Swift
On the Feb. 20 episode of “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce,” the podcaster set straight accusations that she turned down a home-cooked meal from Swift. In case you haven’t heard, Swift is dating Kelce’s brother-in-law, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
In the podcast segment “F**k Around and Find Out,” Kelce addressed the misleading claim, published by Parade with the headline, “Why Kylie Kelce Refused to Eat Taylor Swift’s Home-Cooked Meal on Double Date With Singer.”
Kelce reiterated that she explained on a different and previous podcast exactly why she didn’t eat the meal, which was prepared by a private chef and not Swift herself.
“I didn’t refuse anything,” Kylie said about the home-cooked meal confusion. “I wouldn’t refuse anything, especially if I was without child.”
What frustrated Kelce most, however, wasn’t just the inaccurate reporting but the unnecessary attempt to pit women against each other.
“Why are we trying to pit women against women? Why we doing that? That seems dumb and counterproductive,” Kelce said.
Emphasizing her appreciation for Swift and how happy she makes the Chiefs All-Pro, Kelce called out the manufactured controversy, reminding fans that there’s no bad blood — only respect.
“Anyone that asks me in person, I am very forthcoming about how much I love and appreciate [Taylor Swift] and the fact that I love that you can tell how happy Travis is, and that’s what I care about. So let’s not pit women against women.”
Where Kelce’s Comments About Refusing Swift’s Dinner Began
Appearing on the Feb. 12 episode of Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast — the most-listened-to podcast by women on Spotify — the famous NFL wife was asked if she’d ever eaten one of Swift’s famed home-cooked meals.
“I don’t know that I really ate the meal,” Kelce answered. “This is going to sound terrible. I didn’t really eat the meal because I was eight weeks pregnant. It was one of those where like nothing [would sit well with me].”
