The kicker position is probably one of the most annoying to draft in fantasy football. You usually have to overpay for any of the good options, meaning that you can be left with the relative “dregs” in the latter rounds. That will often leave you needing to be nimble and stream the kicker position throughout the season.
Let’s take a look at the top kicker streaming options for Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season.

Top Kicker Streaming Options for Week 1
Tyler Bass, BUF (vs. Arizona Cardinals)
The game between the Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals is one of the more exciting games this week in terms of scoring potential. That is demonstrated by the 48-point total set by most sportsbooks, with both offenses having a chance to score more than 20 points in what should be relatively calm weather in Buffalo.
The weather should help the kicking game, too, making Bass one of the better options as a kicker streamer in Week 1. His 12.6% rostership is significantly lower than I would expect, and he is a player I am targeting if I need a kicker this week.
Jason Sanders, MIA (vs. Jacksonville Jaguars)
Another player who is surprisingly rostered in a low percentage of leagues is Jason Sanders. The Miami Dolphins kicker has a high-flying offense that was exceptionally clinical around the goal line last year. If that efficiency drops off, then Sanders could have a shot to be a top-five kicker in 2024.

That starts this week in a matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The current game total here is 50, with the Dolphins having a projected total of 26.5. Thus, there should be plenty of opportunity for Sanders to deliver to open the new campaign.
Blake Grupe (vs. Carolina Panthers)
It does get a little tougher for streaming options at kicker behind Bass and Sanders, but Blake Grupe is an intriguing option. Any time he is kicking in a dome, Grupe will be an intriguing play, even if the New Orleans Saints offense is not that exciting.
This is a borderline streaming play based purely on the fact I am not confident the New Orleans Saints offense will be that efficient in the red zone. Grupe could easily have four or five field goal attempts this week, and that is profitable for fantasy purposes.
