The Arizona Cardinals have been battling all year, but injuries are starting to take their toll. James Conner is out with an injury, while the passing game of the Cardinals has slowed down after a fast start by Joshua Dobbs. The Cardinals remain committed to the run, so there still is an option to start a Cardinals running back.
However, which one should fantasy football managers consider starting?

Fantasy Outlook for Keaontay Ingram This Week
With Conner out last week, Keaontay Ingram was the go-to running back for the Cardinals. He carried the ball 10 times for 40 yards while also getting two catches for 11 yards.

The second-year running back from USC carried the ball 27 times for 60 yards last year. He has taken strides and showed some potential last week against the Los Angeles Rams. At 6’0″, 221 pounds, he is a nice combination of size and speed. The Cardinals are going to look to continue running the ball, and Ingram has shown to be a guy the team can count on.
Fantasy Outlook for Damien Williams This Week
Damien Williams made his season debut last week for the Cardinals, finishing with eight carries for 36 yards against the Rams.
Williams burst onto the scene early in his career as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. In the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win against the San Francisco 49ers, Williams rushed for 104 yards and scored two total touchdowns.
Last season, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons but was injured in the opener and placed on injured reserve. He was cut last December and was a free agent until the Cardinals put him on their practice squad on Oct. 5. Williams is an experienced running back and is a guy who can step in on short notice and still produce.
Fantasy Outlook for Emari Demercado This Week
Over the last two weeks, Emari Demercado has been on the field for 77 offensive snaps, more than the other two backs have been on the field all season (67 snaps).

That is an impressive statistic, and it could definitely show that Demercado is the go-to running back for the Cardinals. Two weeks ago, he had 10 carries for 45 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals but had only two carries for 11 yards in the loss to the Rams.
Which Cardinals RB Should You Start?
It doesn’t matter which running back is in; the Cardinals are looking to run the ball. Entering Sunday, Arizona is currently sixth in the league with 141.0 yards per game. This is a tough matchup for the Cardinals as the Seattle Seahawks are fourth in the league against the run (79.2 yards).
This isn’t a great matchup for any of the Cardinals running backs in this game, as the Seahawks are going to load the box and force the team to pass. However, if you have to go with a Cardinals running back, Ingram is the play. The fact he got the ball that much last week was a big sign, and look for the young back to once again set a career-high in carries.
