Kendrick Lamar is set to perform at the 2025 Apple Music Super Bowl 59 Halftime Show on Feb. 9, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. After the first half of the Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagle fixtures, the rap icon will take the stage to make the crowd vibe to his tunes.
The Chiefs are only one step away from an unprecedented three-peat. The stakes can’t get higher for Patrick Mahomes and Co., and Lamar is launching limited-edition merchandise for the halftime show of the battle for the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Kendrick Lamar Launches Super Bowl 59 Merch Collection
In 2022, Lamar was a part of Dr. Dre’s all-star tag team, among other big names like Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and 50 Cent. And although this will be Lamar’s second Super Bowl appearance, it’s his first time leading it.
The global pop icon has raised the level of excitement by dropping an exclusive merch collection for the mega event. Lamar collaborated with Willy Chavarria, an American fashion designer, to come up with crazy apparel.
The merchandise features lyrics from Lamar’s latest album, GNX’s track 7, “TV off.”
“Foot up on the gas, but somebody gotta do it,” the lyrics read.

The design has Super Bowl LIX written right below the neck and has K Lamar etched with a football in the middle of 20 & 24.
Along with the hoodies and t-shirts, Lamar has also released g. National shorts. All the revenue generated from the sales will go to the Los Angeles fire victims. The “Not Like Us” singer has given fans another way to show their love for his music and the biggest league in the world.
Lamar announced his appearance at the Super Bowl 59 via his Instagram handle. In his announcement, he says, “My name is Kendrick Lamar, and I’ll be performing at Super Bowl 59. Will you be pulling up? I hope so. You know there’s only one opportunity to win a championship. No round twos. Let’s get it. I hope you won’t miss it. Meet me in New Orleans on February 9, 2025.”
He later advised the fans, saying, “Pull your best dress too, even if you’re watching from home.”
The Chiefs can become the first franchise in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row if they defeat the Philadelphia Eagles. They ended the regular season with a 15-2 record, received a bye in the Wild Card Round and won against the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round and the AFC Championship Game, respectively.
The Eagles have also dominated their opponents in the postseason. They ended the Washington Commanders’ dark horse run in the NFC Championship game to earn a spot in the Super Bowl 59.
Lamar’s performance and merch will only add more energy to the already historic matchup.
