Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce is set to host "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity" on Amazon's Prime Video. All of that and more in Chiefs news.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is seemingly on top of the world right now.

Kelce has one of the highest-streamed sports podcasts, “New Heights,” with his brother, he dates Taylor Swift, and he just won his third Super Bowl. What else could lift his stardom to… new heights?

The tight end’s celebrity status may be on the rise, but Kansas City is looking to improve, too, even after two consecutive Super Bowls. Where can the Chiefs improve this offseason?

Travis Kelce To Host ‘Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader’ Spinoff

Kelce is set to host “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity” on Amazon Prime Video. The show is expected to be 20 episodes long.

“I grew up loving game shows, and I’m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity,'” Kelce said in a news release.

“The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining. I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up,” Kelce said.

In each “game” or episode, an adult contestant will be in a classroom full of stage, movie, and sports celebrities that will aid them in answering 11 questions. These questions will be from a variety of topics that are within the elementary school curriculum, with winners earning $100,000.

Joe Broback Mocks Receiver to Kansas City

One would think that no matter what weapons Patrick Mahomes will have surrounding him this season, he will still succeed. The Chiefs already added Hollywood Brown in the offseason, but what if the team could get even stronger at the receiver position?

Pro Football Network’s Joe Broback has the Chiefs selecting Florida State wideout Keon Coleman with the 32nd pick of this year’s draft in his latest mock.

“While he didn’t post the best testing numbers this offseason, there’s still plenty to like about Keon Coleman,” Broback wrote. “His 40-yard dash time disappointed, but his film suggests that he runs faster than that. The Kansas City Chiefs need a receiver, and Coleman is a solid option late in the first round.”

Coleman caught 115 passes for 1,506 yards and 19 touchdowns in 32 collegiate games between Michigan State and Florida State. The 6’3″, 213-pound Coleman would provide the team with an “X” receiver that Mahomes has been looking for during his time under center.

Andy Reid Still Believes in Kadarius Toney

While many may be low on Kadarius Toney following his absence from the Chiefs’ Super Bowl run and eventual victory over the San Francisco 49ers, head coach Andy Reid still believes in him. Toney has worked out with Mahomes in Texas to build a better rapport with his quarterback and has still not been cut or traded.

Reid spoke with Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio on the matter.

“Kadarius is arguably one of the most talented guys we have on the team,” Reid said. “It’s just a matter of being healthy and being able to stay on the field and you always hear about the reliability, accountability, all those things that go into it.

“And so I’m expecting him to come back ripping and ready to go. It’s great that he’s down there working with Pat and putting the work in. So that’s a position. Listen, we like Kadarius. It’s just a matter of having him on the field.”

Toney posted just 27 receptions for 169 yards and one touchdown during the regular season, reeling in 71.1% of his targets.
