Before the 2025 NFL Draft hits, we’ll know if the Kansas City Chiefs‘ bid for a three-peat was successful or not. But regardless, Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes are in the empire business, and they’ll stay at the NFL‘s mountaintop as long as they’re able.
It’s well documented that the Chiefs’ success in the NFL Draft has been a large part of their modern success overall. And in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, they continue that cycle with value picks at each and every round.
Who Could the Kansas City Chiefs Draft in 2025?
1.32) Kansas City Chiefs: Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
After trading L’Jarius Sneed to the Tennessee Titans, boundary cornerback could be an area of need for the Chiefs in 2025. Shavon Revel is an under-the-radar prospect who fits Steve Spagnuolo’s profile better than most. He’s long, athletic, and as competitive as they come.
At 6’2″, 188 pounds, Revel has the combined explosiveness, sink, and elasticity as a mover to generate excitement, and he’s also a prolific playmaker — as evidenced by his 13 pass breakups in 2023. He can play man, off-man, or zone, and urgency underpins his game.
Though Revel might not fill the void left by Sneed’s departure right away, he has the high-end tools and tenacity to grow into an imposing player. And playing alongside Trent McDuffie — one of the best nickel DBs in the sport — that growth could be catalyzed.
2.64) Kansas City Chiefs: Nic Anderson, WR, Oklahoma
Andy Reid loves to diversify his weapons core. At 6’4″, 213 pounds, Nic Anderson gives Reid the size, vertical ability, and catch-point instincts few others have, and he flashes exciting flexibility, bend, and sinking ability as a route runner.

Marquise Brown is only on a one-year deal, and past Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice, there’s little in the way of both stability and size on the Chiefs’ roster. Anderson helps hedge for that, and he has developmental potential of his own.
3.67) Kansas City Chiefs: Jonas Sanker, S, Virginia
Jonas Sanker gives the Chiefs a do-it-all safety prospect with rare fluidity and sink in his motion at 210 pounds, supplementing two-high, support, and nickel capability.
The Chiefs have a couple of promising young safeties in Chamarri Conner and Jaden Hicks, but none of them provide the same kind of coverage versatility that Sanker has.
3.96) Kansas City Chiefs: Marcus Mbow, OL, Purdue
At 6’5″, 305 pounds, Marcus Mbow is long, explosive, and a mauling finisher, and he has pre-existing experience at both guard and tackle, imbuing versatility.
With Trey Smith and Joe Thuney hitting expiring contracts in back-to-back years, drafting for the future at both tackle and guard, in one fell swoop, could be a savvy move.
