Is Juwan Johnson Playing in Week 14?

Johnson (foot) was limited at practice all week. It was a new injury for Johnson, who was not on last week’s report at all.

Fortunately, Johnson was removed from the Saints’ injury report on Friday and will not carry a designation into Week 14.

With Taysom Hill done for the season after tearing his ACL in Week 13, Johnson should have an opportunity to produce down the stretch before becoming a free agent in 2025. New Orleans’ injury-marred offense is missing Hill, Chris Olave, and Rashid Shaheed, opening plenty of targets for tertiary contributors like Johnson.

We’ll continue to monitor the Saints’ injury report. You can also visit and bookmark our NFL Injury Tracker and Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.

Should You Start or Sit Juwan Johnson in Week 14?

Johnson finished Week 13’s loss with a season-high seven targets, and we could see that level of involvement sustained as a result of the Taysom Hill injury.

We’ve seen a few splash plays from New Orleans’ offense, but don’t let that fool you. This is a very cautious offense that is plenty capable of funneling looks in volume to a chain mover like Johnson.

Over the Saints’ past three games, Derek Carr has a 5.0-yard average depth of throw when not targeting Marquez Valdes-Scantling. This is a top-10 offense in rush rate over expectation, and that’s holding back my pass-attempt projection this week. However, looking for 7-10 PPR points is plenty reasonable, something that should be enough to keep you competitive, even if it’s not going to win you your matchup.
