Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds is said to be OK after suffering multiple gunshot wounds while leaving a strip club early in the morning of Oct. 18, 9 News out of Denver first reported.
The Broncos organization confirmed Thursday that Reynolds had been shot and “received treatment for minor injuries. Out of respect for the legal process, we will defer further comment on this matter to the authorities.”
What Happened to Josh Reynolds?
According to the original 9 News report, Reynolds and an associate were shot as they left Shotgun Willies gentleman’s club in Glendale, Colo.
A 911 call from the scene alerted authorities to the shooting, according to court documents the TV station obtained.
Cops ultimately determined that Reynolds was struck by gunfire in the back of his head and his left arm. The other man was shot in the back, while a third person was injured by shattered glass.

Police also found the victims’ car, which was bullet-ridden, per the report.
According to victim statements, Reynolds and his friends were leaving the club around 2:45 a.m. Friday (Oct. 18) when two cars began following them, and ultimately opened fire. Reynolds and his friends eventually ditched their car and were able to flee on foot.
Police this week announced the arrest of two men, Burr Charlesworth and Luis Mendoza, in connection with the case.
Who Is Josh Reynolds?
The shooting was able to go largely under the radar for the last week because Reynolds is on injured reserve with a broken finger and not practicing with the team.
The incident happened just hours after his teammates beat the New Orleans Saints in a Thursday Night Football game.
Reynolds, 29, is an eight-year receiver out of Texas A&M. He has 232 catches for 3,116 yards and 20 touchdowns in a career spent with the Broncos, Detroit Lions, and Los Angeles Rams.
