Quarterback Josh Allen’s Super Bowl dreams were crushed when he and the Buffalo Bills were defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. While the star quarterback won’t feature in the season’s final game in New Orleans, Allen’s fiancée, Hailee Steinfeld, will mark her presence in Super Bowl 59.
Although the Bills couldn’t pass the Chiefs’ test at Arrowhead Stadium, Allen’s fiancée expressed her love and support for the Buffalo QB ahead of the Super Bowl in New Orleans.
Hailee Steinfeld To Star in Super Bowl Commercial
NFL viewership is set to reach new highs when the Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 9, for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Novartis, an innovative medicines firm, pounced on the opportunity to spread awareness about breast cancer. The True Grit fame actress appeared in an exclusive interview with E! News to reveal that she will feature in the company’s Super Bowl commercial. The advertisement is a part of Novartis’ “Your Attention Please” campaign.
“I, like many others, know someone that has been affected by breast cancer, and it was so important to me. The idea and just the honor alone of being involved and partnering with Novartis,” Steinfeld said. (0:33)
“It’s going to reach so many people, just knowing that it’s so empowering to know your body and know your risk,” she added.
Steinfeld went on to highlight the commercial’s impact, saying, “One thing I love so much about what Novartis has created here in this ad specifically is just that there’s already a fixation on women’s breasts, and we are taking that fixation and turning the attention on what matters most about our breasts and that’s our breast health.
“It’s such a massive event, and I’d be lying if I said a Super Bowl commercial wasn’t a bucket list experience for me,” she told People.
Steinfeld Showers Josh Allen With Love and Appreciation
The Bumblebee star also talked about the Bills’ heartbreaking defeat against the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
“To say the least, I am so proud of that man. Everything he’s done and everything that the team has done together,” she said.
“He is the hardest-working person I know,” Steinfeld added.
Allen is now 0-4 against Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs, and it seems he needs to crack the code if he wants to win the Super Bowl. The Bills’ QB had a great season and ranked third in PFN’s QB+ rankings with a 91.8 score and A- grade in the regular season and playoffs.
