Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Addison had a career game on Monday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers. Should fantasy football managers jump on the opportunity to sell high on Addison before All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson returns?

Should Fantasy Football Managers Trade Jordan Addison?
Fantasy managers knew someone was going to have to step up with Jefferson heading to injured reserve (IR). But questions remained as to who exactly that receiver was going to be.
Well, Addison gave us a definitive answer with a career night on Monday Night Football with seven receptions for 124 yards and two scores (both career-high marks). While his 10 targets against the 49ers was also a career-high, Addison has been productive all season long.

His 29 receptions, 401 yards, and six touchdowns on the season has undoubtedly put him on the fantasy map in his first NFL season. But concerns linger about a potentially reduced role once Jefferson eventually comes back to the active roster within the next month.
Jefferson is guaranteed to miss the next two weeks — which feature matchups against the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons — where Addison should be a co-star alongside T.J. Hockenson in this passing game. However, his value could drop significantly once Jefferson returns.
While it is difficult to part ways with the production we saw from Addison against a talented 49ers defense, I would definitely look to shop and deal Addison after a career night and the impending return of Jefferson looming.
What Should Fantasy Managers Look To Acquire When Trading Addison?
Addison has found the end zone the past two weeks, which should help inflate his trade value a bit more when trying to identify players to offload the rookie wide receiver in exchange for.
Ideally, I would aim for an RB2 or WR2 with upside in exchange for Addison. Names like Aaron Jones, Jahmyr Gibbs, Mike Evans, and Adam Thielen all come to mind.
