‘Mr. Passive-Aggressive’ – Jets Fans Take Aim at Aaron Rodgers’ Prickly Soundbite

    Published on

Jets fans expressed their displeasure with Aaron Rodgers for insensitive comments following the Jets' 14th straight failed run at the playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers’ sole job was to end the New York Jets’ playoff drought upon his arrival. However, that tally has now increased to 14 years.

After the Jets’ official end of the playoff hopes came with the loss against the Miami Dolphins, the quarterback commented on this issue. Jets fans, however, did not like his reaction.

Aaron Rodgers Doesn’t Want Accountability for 14 Years at the Jets

In A-Rod’s 20-year career, he has gone to the playoffs on 12 occasions. However, that did not occur in his two seasons with the Jets. At the Week 14 postgame press conference, Rodgers was asked about the reasons behind the Jets’ continuous failure.

An irked Rodgers responded, “I’ve started for one year, so I’m a part of it for one year. It’s disappointing.”

This response from the team’s QB did not sit well with the fans. They did not stay silent either but made their feelings known. “I hate this guy,” responded one fan.

    “Mr. Passive-Aggressive,” one fan tweeted.

“He really knows how to take accountability and endear himself to fans,” added a fan.

“I don’t wanna hear nothing from him, got hurt first year, trash the next, B GONE ALREADY, LEAVE,” responded one fan.

“POS. His signing set the team back many years, and those years are still to come,” another fan added.

“This dude loves to make sure you know what wasn’t his fault man lol. I’m beyond done with him,” another fan tweeted.

Rodgers Drops Hint Regarding His Future With the Jets

Recently, there have been many reports and rumors that Rodgers might not be a part of the Jets’ rebuild in 2025. The 10-time Pro Bowler, during his appearance on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show,” tackled this issue head-on.

“I just redid my house here in Jersey,” Rodgers said. “My goal was to play a few more years here. We’ll see. I’d like to be healthy; I’d like to end on my feet.”
