Jerry Jones’ House: A View of the Dallas Cowboys Owner’s $28.12 Million Mansion

A look into the $28.12 million mansion of one of the NFL's most prominent names, Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys.

Jerry Jones is a familiar name in the NFL thanks to his $9 billion team, the Dallas Cowboys. The business tycoon is also the owner of a Texas oil and gas company, and he’s worth over $14 billion. He paid $140 million for the Cowboys in 1989, but through his hard work, management skills, and intrinsic knowledge of football, he turned it into the most valuable team in the NFL.

Jones has a background in football, having played as a running back and co-captain during his college days when the University of Arkansas was college champions in 1964. So, let’s take a look at the house of this football icon who does everything grand and in style.

    Jerry Jones’ Texas Home

Jones lives in his Mediterranean-style mansion in Highland Park, Dallas, Texas. This 14,000-square-foot house was built in 1931 and bought by Jones in 1992 for $5.8 million, but it is now worth $28.12 million. The residence still maintains much of its original architectural style but with modern elements, thanks to Jones’ efforts. It is a testament to the Texas oil giant’s grandeur and exquisite style.

The two-story house has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, all covered in marble. The red-tiled roofs, stucco walls, and arched doorways and windows, along with a grand entrance, are a sight to behold for guests. Unsurprisingly, the house’s walls are adorned with memorabilia and art of the Cowboys. Though the house offers a lot to his family, it offers even more to any guest who visits this property.

Built on 4.69 acres of land, it is surrounded by lush green surroundings, providing privacy and garden space. Six fireplaces surround the house to provide a cozy ambiance after sunset. There is a two-story library for readers and a tennis court for leisure.

Jones’ mansion is a jewel in the Highland Park area, a city within a city planned in the 20th century. Though Jones’ mansion is built in the Mediterranean style, most of the nearby houses are built in a Colonial style.

An average mansion in the locality is about 10,000 square feet with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. So, it can be assumed that Jones’ house is one of the best in an area that is filled with high-income earners. Jones indeed loves — and lives for — the Cowboys all the time.
