Latest Injury News Surrounding Jerome Ford
The Browns’ backfield has been fluid over the past two weeks. Nick Chubb suffered a season-ending injury; Kareem Hunt signed a one-year deal with the team.
Yet, the constant over the last two weeks was Ford finding the end zone.

Unfortunately, Ford appeared on the Browns’ injury report from Wednesday as a limited participant in practice to start the week.

Will Ford Play This Week?
The appearance of Ford on the injury report should have your attention, but perhaps it is not time to panic quite yet.
Ford did play into the fourth quarter of the team’s 27-3 lopsided victory over the Tennessee Titans last week and is a limited participant in practice to start the week.
As long as Ford continues to practice, he should be a safe bet to be available for Week 4.
What Does This Mean for Ford’s Fantasy Ranking?
Ford’s name wasn’t the running back to appear on the Browns’ injury report from Wednesday.

Hunt was listed as a DNP for injuries to his ribs and groin, which makes his status for Week 4 far more uncertain than Ford.
Ford led the backfield in touches, but did split the work with Hunt and Pierre Strong Jr. The latter did finish with the most rushing yards on the team despite seeing four fewer carries than Ford last week.
Though Ford had limited participation in Wednesday’s practice, I still have Ford inside the top 20 of my running back rankings heading into their matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
