‘Jeremiah Smith, I Can See You in Black and Silver’ – Former NFL Star Makes Huge Prediction After Chip Kelly’s Raiders Move

One former NFL star wide receiver made a huge prediction for Jeremiah Smith following the announcement of Chip Kelly signing with the Raiders.

The Las Vegas Raiders have made some big coaching changes this offseason. They announced on January 25 the hiring of former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll as their next head coach.

Then, on February 2, they announced the signing of their offensive coordinator, Chip Kelly. Chip Kelly was previously the offensive coordinator for the Ohio State Buckeyes and helped them win the College Football Playoff National Championship on Jan. 20.

Former NFL Star Dez Bryant Makes a Big Prediction After the Raiders Hired Chip Kelly

Kelly’s signing with the Las Vegas Raiders came as a surprise. It was his first season with the Buckeyes and they had just won a title. However, Kelly opted to move on with his career in the NFL, joining forces with Carroll in Las Vegas.

Following the signing, it led to a lot of discussion from NFL fans about what this could mean for the futures of the Raiders and Buckeyes. With the Raiders, it will be interesting to see how their revamped coaching staff handle the upcoming rebuild.

Former NFL star Dez Bryant commented on the move on X, saying that one of Kelly’s Ohio State stars could join him on the Raiders.

“Raiders are trying to win now!… don’t worry Jeremiah Smith I can see you in black and silver.”

With the news that Kelly was leaving the Buckeyes, wide receiver Jeremiah Smith did not hold back in sharing his disappointment, simply having a one-word response on X.

    “Nooooo.”

As a result, Bryant thinks it makes sense that Smith could reunite with Kelly in Las Vegas in the future. However, if that is going to happen, it will not be for at least two more years — the earliest Smith can declare is the 2027 NFL Draft.

Smith had a stellar season and was one of the top reasons the Buckeyes were able to turn their season around and win the CFP National Championship.

Many media members and analysts have stated they think Smith would contend to be the first pick this season if he is eligible, but that is not the case. Smith will remain in college for two more years. He will likely be one of the top picks when it’s his time to shine — if the Raiders are lucky enough, Smith could reunite with Kelly.
