Jayden Daniels’ Mom, Regina Jackson, Issues Warning After Rookie QB Leads Commanders Past Lions

Jayden Daniels' mom, Regina Jackson, posted a warning for her son's next opponent as he moves on to the NFC Championship Game.

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels proved in the Divisional Round why he is the odds-on favorite to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award after the team’s upset over the Detroit Lions, 45-31.

But Daniels’ mom, Regina Jackson, had a warning for her son’s next opponent.

Regina Jackson Warns Commanders Next Opponent

Jackson has been on point when predicting her son’s success, and after the Commanders’ victory over Detroit posted the following on social media.

“Look how he shocked the world. Look how he put the odds to rest, look how he overcame. Look how he showed you he the best still. You ain’t seen nothing yet. You ain’t seen nothing yet, yeah (I swear, ayy). You ain’t seen nothing yet, yeah.”

Jackson has supported her son from Day 1. She’s been at both his playoff games so far and more than likely will be in Los Angeles or Philadelphia to support her son and the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game next week.

Until their victory over the Lions, Washington had the longest streak in the conference of not making the NFC Championship Game (34 years). Now, the longest streak belongs to their rivals, the Dallas Cowboys (29 years).

Jackson Always Believed in Jayden Daniels

Jackson supported her son early on in his career and has praised his efforts throughout the years. She talked about how much he had overcome during the 2023 Heisman Trophy ceremony.

“The word perseverance is that kid Jayden,” Jackson said before the Heisman Trophy ceremony. “The patience he has, the resilience to continue day after day, hour after hour, minute after minute, to be the best version of himself … just watching him get up at 5:30 in the morning to be great is really hard to describe.”

Jackson’s belief in her son is evident in showing up to games and posting support on social media before his games.

Daniels, in turn, appreciates all his mom has done for him over the years. He praised his mother for getting him to this point in his career. He even praised her on the podcast “The Pivot” for always being there for him.

“My mother has never missed a game,” he said.

“If it’s raining out there, she’s going to be out there. If it’s minus degrees, she’s going to be out there standing up the whole time making sure she’s cheering me on.”
