If you don’t think Jayden Daniels is for real, you’d better apologize to Ms. Jackson. Like, a trillion times.

On Sunday afternoon of NFL’s Week 16, the Washington Commanders’ quarterback and presumptive Rookie of the Year had himself a game, tossing five touchdowns en route to a 36-33 upset of the Philadelphia Eagles.

In a crucial contest for the NFC East rivals that was overflowing with playoff implications, the LSU product was brilliant in crunch time, capping off an astounding fourth quarter with a touchdown toss to Jamison Crowder, an electric game-winner that got Daniels’ mother more than a little excited.

Regina Jackson is just about the coolest mom an NFL player could ask for. Aside from being ultra-supportive on social, Mz. Jackson (as she often calls herself) is a certified NFL agent.

Jackson took the agent journey not to get all up in her son’s business but rather because she needed to help. “For [Regina], taking the agent’s test is because she wants to be knowledgeable and helping her son and guiding him through his NFL career,” explained PR expert Denise White.

“It’s important for her to have all that knowledge so she can give her son guidance, which will help him focus on the field and she can help focus off the field for him.”

The full-service sports mother goes above and beyond when hyping her son, oftentimes wearing her heart visibly on her sleeve…or, in some instances, on her back.

Daniels doesn’t feel smothered by his mother’s love. For that matter, he relishes the attention, telling The Pivot Podcast, “My mother has never missed a game. If it’s raining out there, she’s going to be out there. If it’s minus [negative] degrees, she’s going to be out there standing up the whole time making sure she’s cheering me on. Everything [my parents have] done for me, I’ve been so grateful for.”

Andre 3000 himself couldn’t have put it better.
