Who has had a better year than Jason and Travis Kelce? Both NFL players made it to the Super Bowl, playing against one another, with younger brother Travis coming out on top. In that same time frame, the Kelce brothers have seen their joint venture podcast “New Heights” take off in popularity.
On the latest episode, Jason had his wife Kylie on the podcast, and her appearance certainly did not disappoint. Like anything else, when you add a spouse into the mix, there is a chance for some embarrassing stories to be told, and that is just what Kylie did when she went into detail on how Jason asked for her hand in marriage.

It looks like Jason isn’t the romantic type — not like anybody expected that anyway — but that is just fine for Kylie. However, Kylie knew something was up when he told a little lie about needing to go to the bathroom that unraveled his whole plan. “Great, go in, ’cause we are not turning back around he went inside, and he was only in there for maybe two minutes, and he came back out,” Kylie said.
Jason eventually came back out and got to the point by saying, “This is not the most romantic way to do this, but can you get out of the truck,” before getting on one knee and proposing to his now-wife.
The Kelce’s have now been together for over six years, and this story is looked at as a classic case of Jason being Jason.
Kelce Brothers on Top of the NFL World
Travis is widely viewed as the game’s best tight end, and his presence was sorely missed in last night’s Kansas City Chiefs Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions. The receiving options for Mahomes were not sufficient without Travis out there, and as a result, the Chiefs were beaten but an intriguing Lions team.
Jason is entering his 13th season in the NFL. The Eagles are fresh off a tough Super Bowl loss to his brother and the Chiefs, but they are primed to be a threat in the NFC again.
Kelce is the anchor in the middle of the league’s best offensive line, and the savvy veteran is hoping that this time it can be him who comes out victorious in the end.
