During an appearance on “The Steam Room” podcast with Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson, the former Philadelphia Eagles center opened up about the moment he realized his younger brother’s relationship with Swift was something unique.
Jason admitted that he couldn’t recall the exact moment Travis told him about Swift, but he remembers being in disbelief. His reaction was one many fans might relate to: shock that his brother was “hanging out” with none other than the global star, Swift. However, what stood out wasn’t just the magnitude of her celebrity but how Travis spoke about her.
Jason revealed that he could tell there was something deeper between the Chiefs tight end and the pop superstar.
“This felt different. I’m talking about Travis. And then what also felt different is just the way he talks about her and talked about her from the moment he was with her. You could tell how much he really, really liked her right from the get-go.”

Beyond the romance, Jason is aware of how the relationship has influenced Travis in other ways. He appeared on the “Fitz & Whit” podcast, describing his brother’s recent growth in recent years, crediting Swift as a factor.
“Trav, he is growing up. He’s still, though, got that youthful enthusiasm. I think he’ll kinda always have that, it’s just part of his personality, and I think it’s one of the reasons every teammate has loved playing with him and anybody that’s ever met Trav, you can’t help but just love the guy,” explained Jason.
