Jason Kelce isn’t just the anchor of the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line – he’s also their unofficial hype man. After his squad clinched a spot in Super Bowl LIX, Kelce couldn’t resist dropping a compliment as the former center and current ESPN analyst had nothing but praise for QB Jalen Hurts and the rest of the squad.
Jason Kelce’s Bold Post and the Eagles’ Dominant NFC Championship
Kelce doesn’t do subtle. After the Eagles’ dominant 55-23 NFC Championship win over the Washington Commanders, he hopped on X (formerly called Twitter) and delivered a message that was as bold as Philly’s performance: “Well that was fun, these dudes are ridiculously good! GO F**KING BIRDS!!”

And he wasn’t wrong. Jalen Hurts, coming off a knee injury scare, was in literal beast mode. Four TDs – three on the ground – and a performance that had fans saying, “MVP, anyone?”
Then there’s Saquon Barkley. He kicked things off with a 60-yard run and finished with three TDs of his own. Together, Hurts and Barkley became the first-ever pair of teammates to rush for three TDs each in a single playoff game.
Meanwhile, the defense did its thing, forcing four turnovers and the same old takeaway magic that’s become their trademark.
What’s interesting to note is that heading into this game — after not forcing a turnover in Weeks 6-8 — the Eagles’ defense has forced at least one in 11 of their past 13 games — and multiple in four of their past five games.
SAQUON ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

Jayden Daniels might’ve flashed some rookie brilliance, but the Eagles weren’t about to let the Commanders pull off any miracles.
Philly’s Super Bowl journey is a full-circle moment. Just two years ago, they were stung by the Kansas City Chiefs when they faced off in Glendale, Arizona. 2023 was a tough road, but the lessons learned have turned them into a playoff juggernaut.
With new additions like Barkley and a refreshed mindset, they’re ready to bring Philly its second Lombardi Trophy. Watch out; the Birds are flying high.
Jason Kelce Drops ‘MVP’ After Barkley’s 60-Yard TD Sparks Eagles’ NFC Dominance
Kelce’s post-game reaction to Barkley’s explosive 60-yard touchdown was a mic drop. “MVP,” Kelce wrote on X, and well, can you blame him?
Barkley’s first-play magic set the entire tone for the NFC Championship. Two broken tackles, a spin, and one sprint later, he was in the end zone, leaving the Commanders’ defense looking like a group of players who forgot their playbooks.
And it wasn’t just us fans losing it.
NFL legend Bill Belichick weighed in on Barkley’s sheer dominance: “You can’t give up any long runs to him. He’s going to get some seven, eight, 10-yarders, but it’s the 60, 70-yarders that are back-breaking. He’s definitely a hard guy to stop but I think tackling is the No. 1 issue with him, particularly in the secondary…”
And as we saw, Barkley’s got the speed to turn “routine” runs into highlight reels.
Belichick added, “They’re a hard offense to stop. They’ve got a great offensive line and are well-coached. They are very good. I think what Washington wants to do is make Hurts beat them and not let Barkley beat them. That’s easier said than done.”
With Hurts at the helm and a line ready to bulldoze anything in their way, the Eagles are a legit nightmare for any defense.
