The Denver Broncos recently made the surprising decision to bench incumbent starter Russell Wilson for backup Jarrett Stidham for the remainder of the season.
The 27-year-old Stidham has two career starts under his belt, both coming last year with the Las Vegas Raiders, but he has yet to register a professional victory as the starter of record. He’ll get another chance this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Auburn product has flashed potential in limited action, but this might be his best opportunity yet. A strong close to his fifth professional season could earn him a legitimate shot to compete for a starting role heading into the 2024 season.
Broncos fans will be rooting for Stidham to close the year out strong. So too will Stidham’s wife, Kennedy Stidham.
Who Is Jarrett Stidham’s Wife, Kennedy Stidham?
Stidham spent a year with the Baylor Bears in 2015 before transferring to Auburn. He’d make his name athletically post-transfer, but he wound up meeting his eventual wife, Kennedy, during his lone year at Baylor.
She was likewise an athlete for the Bears at the time. She competed under her maiden name, Kennedy Brown, as a midfielder and forward for the women’s soccer team. The future Mrs. Stidham enjoyed tremendous success both on and off the field during her collegiate tenure.
She was honored for her academic achievements regularly, landing on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in parts of four consecutive academic years according to her Baylor player profile. She also proved impactful on the field.

Kennedy made continual progress throughout her collegiate career, advancing from a developing player in her first few seasons to a regular starter in her last two. She notched 34 total starts and 11 career points in her Bears career.
She exhibited a knack for clutch play too, scoring critical goals in postseason play as well as one which helped Baylor to secure a Big 12 championship in 2017.

Her athletic chops aren’t overly surprising when one considers her roots. Kennedy is the daughter of former 15-year Houston Rockets CEO Tad Brown.
Add in her relationship with Stidham and her own standout athletic career and it seems as though she’s already spent a lifetime surrounded by high-level athletes.
We touched on Kennedy’s academic achievements previously. According to The U.S. Sun, she double majored in journalism and public relations while in college. Info on what career path she may have followed post-grad, if any, is admittedly scarce in the public sphere.
You can glean some insight into her and the family’s personal life on her YouTube channel, which boasts almost 20,000 followers.

The couple did welcome their first child, daughter Lennon Love Stidham, into the world in April of last year. It seems likely that much of Kennedy’s attention since then has been focused on ensuring the toddler’s continued health and well-being.
Though, she’s likely going to devote just a little bit more of it to supporting her husband this weekend.
