Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff's wife reposted a video she made four years ago, celebrating the Lions while filming for a swimsuit magazine.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is married to a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. Christen Harper Goff had a viral video sharing her reaction after the Lions won their first game during their 3-13-1 season in 2021. She is very proud of the Lions who are back-to-back division champions after their 15-win season in 2024.

This is the second time in franchise history that the Lions have earned a first-round bye — the last time was in 1991.

Jared Goff’s Wife Christen Harper Makes Video Honoring Lions

Christen Harper Goff, Jared Goff’s wife, made a video recalling her viral moment four years ago, this time celebrating the Lions’ win over the Minnesota Vikings and the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

The original video was made after the Lions broke their 0-10-1 skid four seasons ago during Goff’s first campaign in Detroit.

This time, she is revisiting it with a repost on her Instagram story: “From our first win 4 years ago when I was on set shooting [with Sports Illustrated] for the first time until now!!! So proud B2B division champs!!!”

The Lions have won back-to-back division titles and will have a first-round bye. They will face the winner of the Minnesota Vikings-Los Angeles Rams game at home next weekend.

Lions coach Dan Campbell was so sure the Vikings would win against the Rams on Wild Card Weekend that he told Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell he would see him again in two weeks. This was after the Lions defeated the Vikings Sunday night.

The Lions, currently No. 1 in PFN’s Wild Card Power Rankings, currently boast the league’s top offense according to PFN’s Offense+ metric, captained by Goff who leads the NFC with a grade of 93.2 (A), second-best in the NFL behind just Lamar Jackson according to PFN’s QB+ metric.

The Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs both finished with a record of 15-2. The Chiefs earned the first-round bye and home-field advantage in the AFC.

On Sunday night, Detroit was powered by running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who scored four touchdowns (three rushing and one receiving) and totaled 170 yards (139 rushing and 31 receiving). Gibbs finished the season with 20 touchdowns, leading the NFL and breaking Detroit’s franchise record.

The bye is much-needed for the Lions, as they have a plethora of players who need to rest due to nagging injuries. The Lions had two more defensive players go down with injuries on Sunday night: Terrion Arnold (foot) and Pat O’Connor (calf).

The Lions are already missing Carlton Davis III, so that means Detroit will be without both starting cornerbacks if Arnold can’t play in the second round.

Still, PFN’s Playoff Predictor is a big fan of the Lions, ranking Detroit as the NFL’s best offense and 11th-best defense while giving them a 29.2% chance to win the Super Bowl — more than double the odds of the next-highest team.

As for Minnesota, they were the surprise team of this season. Entering the year, sportsbooks had the Vikings’ over/under set at 6.5 wins, so their 14 wins exceeded all expectations. Sam Darnold is among the favorites to win the Comeback Player of the Year award.
