James Madison 2023 NFL Draft Scouting Reports
Jamare Edwards, DT
Strengths: Solid college pass rusher who began his career at Marshall. Fires off the snap with a quick first step, immediately gets his hands up, and effectively uses them to protect himself or get off blocks. Displays good change-of-direction ability and nicely moves in any direction of the field. Hustles and works to make plays.

Weaknesses: Lined up at defensive tackle last season. Out-positioned by opponents or easily pushed to the ground. Comes with poor measurables and little upside.
Overall: Edwards showed plenty of ability as a pass rusher last year, but he really has no next-level position and will struggle to make it out of camp.
