Jamies1of1 has been the subject of intense scrutiny over the past 24 hours, with many claiming that this is really the burner account for Tampa Bay Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht. When you look at all of the conspiracy theories out there, a lot seems to add up. But is it true?
We ask Jameis1of1 this very question – are you Jason Licht? Is this a burner account? And if you aren’t Jason Licht, are you related to anyone or have a relationship with anyone within the Buccaneers organization? Tune in to hear his answers and you can start deciding for yourself.
We also ask him about his book on Winston and why he decided to dedicate 400+ pages to the former Florida State University superstar. What drew Jameis1of1 to him and why didn’t he pick another quarterback, such as Matthew Stafford of the Detroit Lions?
We talk to Jameis1of1 about PFN’s Offensive Share Metric, where Winston is ranked fifth overall when compared to 40 eligible quarterbacks. For those unfamiliar with OSM, the metric uses the NFL’s Next Gen Stats to measure how responsible a player is for their own production.
By extension, the metric is also a way to measure how much a player contributed to their team’s offense overall. For example, a player that had a very productive day statistically, but a low OSM grade, didn’t actually contribute that much offensively because their numbers were primarily the result of their teammates playing well, rather than their own play.
For Winston, it’s the opposite. While the box score may tell one story, PFN OSM tells another, which is that Winston is responsible for a lot of the offense’s success and when things do go wrong, it’s not necessarily because of him.
We hear Jameis1of1’s thoughts on that and so much more. Tune in to hear this interview and decide for yourself whether Jameis1of1 is Jason Licht, or simply a fan who is looking to right Jameis Winston’s name on and off the field.
