Shortly after the New York Giants signed QB Daniel Jones to a lucrative contract extension, the team invested its third-round pick in the speedy WR from Tennessee, Jalin Hyatt, to give the offense a big-time vertical threat.
Will Hyatt quickly establish himself as the best fantasy football WR on the Giants?

Jalin Hyatt’s Fantasy Outlook for the 2023 NFL Season
Despite a very successful 2022 campaign for the Giants, the team desperately needed to add some weapons to this passing attack this offseason.
Enter Hyatt, who steps into the NFL on Day 1 as a player who can stretch defenses vertically.

Eric Rowe looked like he had bricks in his cleats trying to keep with Hyatt … which was evident by the fact Hyatt had him beaten so badly on the play that he could slow way down on an underthrown ball, and he still had him by three or four steps to put six points on the board for the G-Men.
Unfortunately, it is hard to project exactly where Hyatt lies in the pecking order of the current Giants WR room until he returns to the field.
The team signed free agent WRs Parris Campbell and Jamison Crowder and traded for former Pro Bowl TE Darren Waller to help give Jones more pass-catching options.
Not to mention, veteran WR Sterling Shepard is also expected to return to the mix, and Darius Slayton and Isaiah Hodgins are both expected to contribute this season.
Is Hyatt a Good Fantasy Pick?
Hyatt is probably the team’s best deep threat, which could come in handy when defenses stack the box to slow down RB Saquon Barkley, but it could make his fantasy production tough to rely on if he doesn’t see volume outside of dialed-up deep shots.
His price tag of a 13th-round pick as the WR57 off the board feels like a worthwhile dart throw in an offense still in search of its top WR. Personally, I prefer Hyatt in Best Ball formats but definitely think he is worth a selection late in redraft formats.
