Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers has been struggling to find some form for fantasy football managers as of late. The receiver has not broken the 10-point mark for fantasy managers since Week 6. Furthermore, he is listed as questionable going into tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Flowers is not the only injury concern for the Ravens, as Odell Beckham Jr. is also questionable for tonight’s game against the Chargers.
Will Flowers play tonight against the Chargers? What is the latest injury update on Flowers? And, if Flowers does play this evening, what is his potential fantasy outlook?
Is Zay Flowers Going To Play Week 12?
Flowers is currently listed as questionable going into tonight’s game with the Chargers due to a hip injury. He is also not the only Ravens wide receiver currently on the injury report. Beckham Jr. is also on the injury report due to a shoulder injury.
Flowers was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. However, he scared fantasy managers by not practicing on Thursday in any capacity. Flowers then logged a full practice on Friday to register an extremely rare LP-DNP-FP week.

However, Adam Schefter of ESPN Network posted an update on Flowers’ status for tonight’s game, as well as the status of Beckham Jr. He wrote, “Ravens’ wide receivers Zay Flowers (hip) and Odell Beckham Jr. (shoulder), both of whom are listed as questionable for Sunday night, both are expected to play vs. the Chargers, per source.”
Therefore, it appears both Flowers and Beckham Jr. will play on Sunday Night Football. However, what is Flowers’ fantasy outlook for tonight?
What Is Flowers’ Potential Fantasy Outlook for Today?
Flowers comes into Week 12 as the WR37 in fantasy football. He is also struggling to find the end zone this season. His only touchdown of the season didn’t even come on American soil. He scored in the game the Ravens played in London against the Tennessee Titans in Week 6.
Our PFN Consensus Rankings currently have Flowers ranked at WR27 for this week. The optimism for Flowers this week is the matchup he has vs. the Chargers, who are currently allowing the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers so far this season (34.8 fantasy points per game).
Also, the Ravens lost Mark Andrews to a season-ending injury last week, meaning there are more targets up for grabs in this offense. And fantasy managers will be hoping Flowers can earn some of those targets.
Flowers also has the best matchup of any of the three Ravens wide receivers this week. He will be covered most of the time by Michael Davis. And, according to FantasyPoints Data, Davis is ranked as conceding the ninth-most fantasy points per route run against him. Davis is currently allowing 0.35 fantasy points per route run against him.
Flowers, with this plus matchup, is expected to return Flex-worthy points and should be started by fantasy managers this week. He carries WR2 upside if he can finally score his first touchdown on American soil this week. Therefore, fantasy managers should ignore recent results with Flowers and start him with confidence.
