Another day, another instance of the NFL Fantasy app crashing. On Wednesday afternoon, many fantasy managers were frustrated that the NFL Fantasy app wasn’t working.
This has become a regular occurrence, with the app also crashing during Week 1 and Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season. This time, it somehow happened midweek while no games were being played.
“hey everyone! we apologize to anyone experiencing problems with the NFL Fantasy app,” the @NFLFantasy account posted on X (formerly Twitter). “we know this is an important time in the fantasy season and our team is working to solve the issue so you can be ready to go for the playoffs!”

According to the website DownDetector.com, users have been reporting problems with the NFL Fantasy Football app all morning. The graph shows that the problems started around 6 a.m. ET and peaked around 1 p.m. ET.
The site indicated that 40% of users were reporting an issue with the server connection, 39% were reporting an issue with the website, and 20% reported an issue with gameplay.
Many users were quick to point out that the fantasy football playoffs are right around the corner, so the app needs to get these issues fixed ASAP.
Many fantasy managers have grown frustrated with the NFL Fantasy app and moved their leagues to other fantasy football apps in recent years.
It’s unclear how long the NFL’s fantasy app will be down, but if the recurring issues throughout the season are any indication, it certainly seems like this won’t be the last time the app crashes.
