Is Michigan RB Blake Corum Eligible for the NFL Draft?

Corum is eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft.

To be eligible for the NFL Draft, college football players must accrue at least three seasons at the collegiate level after jumping from high school. 2023 is Corum’s fourth collegiate season, which makes him eligible for the NFL Draft.

Corum is an older fourth-year senior, set to turn 24 years old in November of 2024. For three years, he’s been a top producer for the Wolverines.

Corum logged a career-high 1,463 yards in 2022. And in 2023, Corum racked up 1,111 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns on 237 carries, breaking Michigan’s all-time school record for rushing touchdowns in a career.

Blake Corum’s 2024 NFL Draft Scouting Report

Despite his status as an older prospect and his unproven value as a receiver, Corum can potentially field top-100 capital in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Corum’s 2024 NFL Draft scouting report at Pro Football Network says the following about his rushing ability and how it translates on the field.

“As a pure runner, Corum’s profile is impressively well-rounded. He might not be quantifiably elite in any area, but he has excellent burst, speed, lateral agility, vision, and creative instincts when approaching and off-setting defenders.

“He’s also a hyper-dense, well-leveraged runner at 5’8″, 213 pounds who can bounce off of solo tackles and use his constant leg churn to maximize his finishing output.”

Corum’s high-level rushing ability was displayed against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the first round of the CFB Playoffs. In fact, Corum used his vision, quick-cutting ability, and contact balance to secure a game-winning touchdown in overtime.
