Caleb Williams is the biggest star in all of college football, and after he won the Heisman Trophy, the spotlight got even brighter than it already was. He’s widely considered to be the best quarterback not just in college football but in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, with it all but assured he’ll be drafted No. 1 overall.
It also helps that he’s in the media capital of the world, Los Angeles. With the new age of NIL, Dr. Pepper noticed and followed up on their campaign with Bryce Young, replacing him with Williams.
Williams has also been nothing short of spectacular in 2023 and is one of the frontrunners for the Heisman Trophy this season. He has as good of a chance as any to win the award back-to-back as well, mainly because he has to put up amazing stats in order for USC to win with how bad the defense has played.
Caleb Williams’ Dr Pepper ‘Fansville’ Commercial
Dr. Pepper is trying to take full advantage of Williams’ marketability, even starting with him painting his nails. According to On3, Williams’ mother Dayna Price will also make an appearance in the marketing campaign, with her being shown painting his nails in one of the commercials.
Dr. Pepper is also promoting the ad campaign with FANicures by Dr. Pepper, which is two bottles of nail polish, one maroon and one white. Dr. Pepper will also partner with Williams’ Caleb Cares Foundation — which supports eliminating bullying, mental health awareness, and youth empowerment — for an activation that will be announced later, which is all a part of his overall deal with the company.
In a press release for the NIL deal, Williams said, “I am incredibly excited to be a part of this year’s ‘Fansville’ campaign and to join Dr Pepper for another iconic season celebrating college football.
“This partnership is even more special because we were able to involve my mom and my foundation, Caleb Cares, both of which are very close to my heart. Together, we’ll create unforgettable moments in ‘Fansville,’ and I can’t wait to bring that same energy to the upcoming season.”

The Fansville ads try to be as current as possible with what’s happening in the sport and that won’t change this season. A highway showing lanes to the playoff can be seen expanding from four to 12, a rival mascot is shown leaving due to the potential for TV revenue, fans are shown starting podcasts and making TikToks and the transfer portal has become a full-fledged storm.
This season’s ads are in full swing and will run through the College Football Playoff National Championship on Jan. 8, 2024.
