If Malik Nabers Could Play With Any QB In NFL History, Who Would He Choose? His Answer Turned Heads

The NFL had one of its greatest rookie classes come into the league in 2024. Whether it was Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels, who had arguably the best rookie quarterbacking season of all time, or a legendary season by Brock Bowers, who led all tight ends in the league in receptions and yards, talent was at a premium

Due to their individual excellence, some of the shine from the wide-receiving crop diminished. But names like Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. were electric in their debut campaigns, crossing 1,000 receiving yards with sub-par quarterback play. The former was asked who he’d like his quarterback to be, and his answer was a name he’s already familiar with.

Malik Nabers Wants His Old QB Back

Coming to the New York Giants was going to be an uphill climb for Nabers. Daniel Jones’s performance hadn’t been as good as the team had hoped, and he was cut midway through the season.

Still, the wide receiver was able to tally a wildly productive season, adding 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie. He also set the rookie record for receptions with 109 to his name and was an NFL Pro Bowl Games selection. However, it might not be a big surprise for those who watched him in college.

With Daniels orchestrating the offense, Nabers tallied an FBS-leading 1,569 yards in his final season and was even named a unanimous All-American for his production. When he declared for the draft, he finished his career as the all-time receiving yards leader in LSU Tigers history with 3,003.

It looks like he wants to go back to those teams. In conversation with the FaZe streamers, he mentioned Jayden Daniels as the only quarterback in NFL history from whom he’d like to catch passes. For those getting excited at the prospect, it gets better.

Not ruling out the possibility of a team-up, Nabers left it at “you never know” when a conversation about the situation becoming a reality in the future came up. Already, Daniels has experienced some of the greatest highs known to a quarterback.

Leading a Washington Commanders team that won four games last season to the NFC Championship Game, Daniels was electric throughout, logging 4,459 total yards and 31 touchdowns to his name in the regular season. He took it a step further in the playoffs, adding 957 yards and six touchdowns.

For his first-ever playoff game, a nail-biter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Nabers was in the crowd, recording their win on IG live as well.
