Week 9 of football is officially in the books, and it’s time to look ahead for our fantasy football leagues. The IDP report will provide an early look at several waiver wire priorities of varying league sizes, along with preliminary Week 10 IDP rankings.

Top Week 10 IDP Waiver Wire Pickups
Kyle Van Noy, LB, Baltimore Ravens
Kyle Van Noy may be listed as a linebacker and defensive lineman on some platforms but here he’s a top DL addition this week. Van Noy picked up two more sacks and a forced fumble in Week 9. For anyone who hasn’t paid him much attention, that’s five sacks in four weeks for the veteran.

Against the Cleveland Browns, he’s definitely in play.
Shaquil Barrett, DL, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Like Van Noy, Shaquil Barrett plays OLB but is a DL on many platforms. He is listed at that spot here. He’s coming back from an injured 2022 but has been getting back to form recently. He’s up to three sacks, two in the last three games, and a 78% snap share. Get Barrett now before he blows up down the stretch.
Tyrel Dodson, LB, Buffalo Bills
Terrel Bernard left the game Sunday night with a concussion, and in stepped Tyrel Dodson to play nearly a full-time role. He posted a season-high nine tackles in the game. Bernard’s injury wasn’t called short-term by his head coach, making it unlikely he will play this week. Dodson is a fantastic fill-in option.
Kwon Alexander, LB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Cole Holcomb is done for the year, and Kwon Alexander appears to be the next man up. While his best IDP days are behind him, the role a player possesses is typically more important than their talent, especially for a linebacker. Alexander posted just two tackles on his 86% of Week 9 snaps but did get an interception, too. Expect better days ahead for the new LB1 in Pittsburgh.
Tre’von Moehrig, S, Las Vegas Raiders
Look, as usual, DBs are not the most fun to find on waivers. Tre’Von Moehrig isn’t going to wow you or be some massive in-season steal. He’s posted five or more tackles in three straight games and seven of nine on the year. He also got his second sack in Week 9. He’s a solid contributor for someone in need of a floor from their DB spot.
Tavierre Thomas, CB, Houston Texans
One interesting CB name who’s flown under the radar in many IDP leagues is Tavierre Thomas. The Houston Texans’ slot CB has only played in four games but has 29 combined tackles! This week Houston plays the Cincinnati Bengals, meaning a lot of three-WR sets and a lot of nickel coverage. Thomas should be busy again in Week 10.

Top IDP Players To Start in Week 10
Azeez Al-Shaair, LB, Tennessee Titans
Azeez Al-Shaair is absolutely on fire right now. He’s a locked-in top LB weekly at this point. He’s now eclipsed 10 tackles in four straight games, including multiple 15-tackle performances. It’s hard to see this not continuing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week, who get the ball to their RBs early and often.
De’Vondre Campbell, LB, Green Bay Packers
After missing a month with injury, De’Vondre Campbell has come back with a vengeance. He’s now posted 20 combined tackles in his two games back. Top LB Quay Walker got hurt in practice on Friday of last week, so he should be questionable at best for Week 10. Without him, Campbell locks into that full-time role that makes him a must-start LB.
