While the actual players will be playing in Wembley Stadium in London, England, Disney and Pixar will transport the players and action to Andy’s room as the setting for Funday Football. Each player will have an animated representation on a field in Andy’s room as fans watch animated replications of every play from the game.
Toy Story Funday Football will have its panel of announcers, with Drew Carter calling play-by-play, Booger McFarland as the analyst, and 12-year-old reporter Pepper Persley commentating. All three will be animated into the playing field with appearances from beloved Toy Story characters, including Woody, Buzz, Bo Peep, Jesse, Bullseye, and many more.
The game will also feature a halftime performance from stuntman Duke Caboom.

The revolutionary broadcast aims to attract fans of all ages. While older fans will be fond of the Pixar nostalgia and unique presentation of a weekly tradition, Disney’s NFL adaptation can bring football to a much younger audience.
After watching Nickelodeon thrive with their broadcasts of NFL games the past few years, Disney is finally throwing its hat in the ring with Toy Story Funday Football. Nickelodeon has kept a standard live broadcasting format while adding quintessential Nick quirks, and Disney takes this youth reach a step further by fully animating the game.
Disney and ESPN have also added several features that show they know this broadcast will have a younger audience. ‘How to’ videos, trivia, and other demonstrations will be used throughout the game to educate the audience on the game of football. Falcons and Jaguars players will also participate in the broadcast with pre-recorded interviews and segments.
