How To Watch the Pat McAfee Show and Aaron Rodgers’ Appearance on the Broadcast

On the first official day of free agency, Aaron Rodgers is joining the Pat McAfee Show, where he might announce his decision. Here's how to watch the broadcast.

Aaron Rodgers has taken his sweet time in deciding whether he will retire, agree to be traded to the New York Jets, or force the Green Bay Packers‘ hand and refuse to join Gang Green. But it all might be coming to an end. Rodgers is set to appear on the Pat McAfee Show today, his first public appearance since the start of free agency.

Here’s how to watch the broadcast and potentially find out where the future Hall of Fame QB will be playing in 2023.

How To Watch Aaron Rodgers on the Pat McAfee Show

The Pat McAfee Show is streamed live on YouTube. According to McAfee himself, Rodgers will be appearing at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 15.

What can we expect come 1 p.m.? It’s hard to know for sure, as Rodgers is a regular guest on the show. But the timing would be far too coincidental, given the cloud of rumors currently swirling around the four-time MVP quarterback, for this to be a routine appearance.

On Wednesday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter explained that he would not be surprised if “Aaron Rodgers tells Pat McAfee, yes, that he wants to play for the Jets. But as [Mike Greenberg has] been saying all week long, there are layers to this whole situation.”

The “layers” Schefter is referring to include whether the Jets and Packers have a complete agreement on trade compensation should Rodgers make his desires clear, whether New York and Rodgers can agree on a restructured contract, and whether the team has otherwise satisfied any of Rodgers’ additional requests.

Speaking of additional requests: the most recent developments in the Rodgers’ saga have seen the Jets seemingly going above and beyond to secure the QB’s services by signing some of his favorite weapons from his Packers tenure.

Despite already having one of the most talented groups of skill-position players in the league, the Jets signed Allen Lazard to a four-year, $22 million contract. According to Dianna Russini of ESPN, the team received a wish list of free agents Rodgers would like them to target, which “includes Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, Marcedes Lewis and….Odell Beckham Jr.”

At some point, this episode will have to come to a head, as the Jets and Packers have been practically frozen out from the rest of free agency as they await Rodgers’ decision. It’s possible a significant step is made by the time his appearance on McAfee’s show is over.
