The second edition of the NFL‘s Saturday Night Football will take place in Week 16. This time, though, you’ll have to watch it differently than normal.
The game will take place exclusively on Peacock, the first time that has ever happened.
How Do You Watch Bills vs. Chargers?
The game is the first of two Peacock-exclusive NFL games. The second game will be in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. NBC, where the game would normally be streamed, will transition from the afternoon game into a couple of sitcoms at 8 p.m. ET.
If fans want to watch the game, they will need to get Peacock’s premium tier, which costs $5.99 a month. If purchased during Week 16, the subscription would carry over into January, when the second game is played.

Local fans, however, do not need to get Peacock. Fans in Buffalo can tune into WGRZ, and fans in Los Angeles can tune into KNBC to watch the game. Everyone else will need Peacock.
There also is a chance fans might be able to catch the game at a bar or restaurant. NBC partnered with EverPass Media to provide games to commercial businesses. However, if your local bar or restaurant airs games via DIRECTV, they would have to sign up separately.
Fans who do view the game through Peacock will get the benefit of 40% fewer advertisements. The entire fourth quarter will air commercial-free, giving fans a reported 12 minutes of additional game coverage. This is the first time this has ever been done in an NFL game.
The game will be broadcast by NBC’s normal Sunday night team. Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth are in the booth. Noah Eagle and Todd Blackledge will handle the broadcast of NBC’s afternoon game.
The game itself will feature significant playoff implications. Although the Chargers, sitting at just 5-9, are likely out of the postseason, the Bills are not. With an 8-6 record, the Bills need every win they can get to keep their hopes alive.
