In a league that seems to be devaluing the running back position and the need for a high-volume workhorse on your team, Henry continues to prove his worth as he mans the Titans backfield in a way only that he can.
Henry’s Career Before the NFL
Before Henry ever stepped foot on an NFL field, he was one of the most dominant and feared players to grace a high school football field. A Yulee High School product out of Florida, Henry was the most sure thing a prospect could be. The consensus five-star running back finished his sensational high school career with 12,124 rushing yards and 153 touchdowns in just 48 career games.
Following his astronomical numbers in high school, Henry took his talents to Alabama where he didn’t slow down much at all at the next level. Henry spent three seasons with the Crimson Tide, where he went on to win the Heisman Trophy and a national championship in his final season.
Following his stellar college career, Henry was the second running back taken in the 2016 NFL Draft, behind only Ezekiel Elliott. He was selected with the 45th pick in the draft and has been a true weapon for the Titans ever since.
