    “He’s a True Leader”: Texas Safety Andrew Mukuba Heaps Praise on Quinn Ewers During 2025 NFL Combine Interview

    Andrew Mukuba, reveals what an NFL team would be getting if they were to select QB Quinn Ewers in the NFL Draft.

    After a thrilling 2024 college football season with the Texas Longhorns, filled with ups and downs, quarterback Quinn Ewers is now set to make a name for himself in the NFL.

    Ewers spent three years as the Longhorns’ starting quarterback and is considered one of the best the team has ever seen.

    Talking about what NFL teams should expect while drafting him, Texas safety Andrew Mukuba gushed over his former teammate.

    Longhorns Safety Andrew Mukuba Sends a Strong Message to NFL Teams Considering Quinn Ewers

    A total of 14 Texas Longhorns players have been invited to the 2025 NFL Combine, including safety Andrew Mukuba, who made a bold case for his former quarterback when asked what an NFL team would be getting if they were to select quarterback Quinn Ewers in the NFL Draft.

    Mukuba said that he believed Ewers is mentally strong because he’s been through a lot of things but managed to keep his head down regardless.

    Talking about Ewers’ leadership, Mukuba said that he’s a natural and a true leader, based on his observation of whenever the former Texas star spoke, everybody paid attention and listened.

    Mukuba also shared how Ewers has earned a lot of respect at Texas by being the person he is and on the basis of all the challenges he faced, without letting it affect his energy during the day or during practice.

    “They are getting an amazing guy. Quinn, as a guy, has kept his head down, a guy that’s mentally strong. I feel like he went through a lot of things, but you wouldn’t be able to tell with Quinn, because he’s the same guy every day, and then in his leadership, you know, he’s a true leader, a natural leader. You can tell by the fact that, you know, when Quinn starts talking, everybody listens.

    “You know, I feel like he has earned a lot of respect at Texas. He earned my respect during my time there, just seeing what type of person he was and what type of adversity he went through. But also, you couldn’t really tell that. You know, he was, like I said, he was the same guy every day, you know, about the same energy, practiced the same and everything, and how he went about his game.”
